1. Do I need to book an appointment to weld L'Essenziale Bracelet?

No. You can go directly to any Atelier VM store or corner boutique without an appointment.

The L’Essenziale Necklace is available for purchase in all our stores and online. It is possible to weld the necklace in all Atelier VM stores.

4. Do I need to book an appointment to weld L’Essenziale Necklace and Anklet?

5. Can I give L'Essenziale Bracelet as a gift by purchasing it online?

Yes. Please follow the below instructions.

When you buy the bracelet online you have to choose between the ‘digital’ or ‘paper’ Card. You will not receive the bracelet with the shipment but the card with which you can collect the jewel at our nearest point of sale.

  • Digital Card: you will receive via e-mail a document with a description and image of the bracelet, a unique code and an optional private message which can be filled out during check-out.
  • Paper Card: you will receive a L’Essenziale shopper containing an envelope with a description and image of the bracelet, a certificate of authenticity, a unique code and an optional private message which can be filled out during check-out.

Important: For those who opt for the digital Card, you will receive a L’Essenziale shopper as described in point b) after the welding of the bracelet at an Atelier VM location.

In order to collect and weld the bracelet at oneof our stores or corner boutiques, you must present the unique code you received to a member of our staff. Without it, it will not be possible to proceed.

You do not need to book an appointment.

Once the unique code is presented, you proceed with selecting the color of your chain, your wrist is measured and the bracelet is rapidly welded.

If charms from the L'Essenziale collection were purchased online together with the bracelet, they will be sent to the shipping address and must be delivered to the operator at the time of welding to be inserted in the bracelet.

The fiscal document (receipt or invoice) of the L'Essenziale Card, if requested during check-out, can be issued and sent via e-mail only after the collection of the bracelet.

6. Can I give L'Essenziale Necklace and Anklet as a gift by purchasing it online?

Once the unique code is presented, you proceed with selecting the color of your chain, the measurement and the welding which takes ca. 20 minutes.

If charms from the L'Essenziale collection were purchased online together with the necklace, they will be sent to the shipping address and must be delivered to the operator at the time of welding to be inserted in the necklace.

It is no possible to insert charms in the anklet.

The fiscal document (receipt or invoice) of the L'Essenziale Card, if requested during check-out, can be issued and sent via e-mail only after the collection of the necklace.

7. How long does the L’Essenziale Card last?

12 months, at the end of which the L'Essenziale Card will be cancelled and can no longer be used.

8. Can L’Essenziale bracelets be welded onto children?

9. Is it possible to purchase a bracelet and charms in the same online order?

Yes. The charm will be mailed to your shipping address and must be brought to the Atelier VM location chosen for the welding process in order to insert it on the bracelet at the moment of the welding.

10. Can I choose to add a charm after welding the bracelet?

Yes. It is always possible to add a L’Essenziale charm to an already welded L’Essenziale bracelet.

11. Can I add a charm of my own?

No. In order to preserve the design, Atelier VM operators are only authorized to weld charms from the L'Essenziale collection.

12. Can the charms be added to any design from the L’Essenziale collection?

Charms can be added to all models except the Wow, Audace and Tota Pulchra bracelets.

13. Can I fly while wearing L’Essenziale?

Yes.You can go through metal detectors without any problems.

14. Do I have to remove L’Essenziale for a doctor appointment?

For general visits it is not necessary to remove L’Essenziale. In the case of an X-ray or other procedures in which your doctor requires it, it is possible to remove L’Essenziale.

15. What should I do if I need to temporarily remove my L’Essenziale jewellery?

It's very simple, you must cut the jewel with scissors or a cutter at the point of welding, keep it and when you want to re-weld it, go to one of the Atelier VM stores. This operation has no additional cost.

You can also come to one of our stores or corner boutiques and ask one of our operators to remove your L’Essenziale jewellery.

16. Is the L’Essenziale bracelet delicate?

No. It is not more delicate than an 18kt gold bracelet of the same size with a normal clasp. The fact that it is welded does not make it more fragile. However if the bracelet would brake for any reason you can return to any of our locations and we will weld it back onto your wrist, a free service.

17. How can I remove the lint traces that gather on my L’Essenziale bracelet?

The lint that can accumulate along your bracelet can be easily removed with a tweezer.

18. My L’Essenziale bracelet has become looser over time. What should I do?

The lint that can accumulate along your bracelet can be easily removed with a tweezer.

19. Can I decide the length of my bracelet?

No. To ensure durability and optimal fit, our operators apply a standard calculation based on the size of each wrist.

20. Having a very thin wrist can I purchase the child model of the bracelet L'Essenziale?

No. Child models can only be welded to children up to 12 years of age.

21. Can I exchange a L'Essenziale Card with another jewel?

Yes, it is possible to change a L'Essenziale Card with a different jewel of equal or higher value. It is not possible to change it with a jewel of lower value.

22. Can I bring a Card L'Essenziale purchased online to all your stores and corner boutiques?

Yes. Please always remember to bring the unique code received. Otherwise, if the Card L’Essenziale was purchased at one of our stores or corner boutiques, it must be used at the same location in which it was purchased.In case you would like to use the Card L’Essenziale in a point of sale of your choice you need to order the Card online.

23. In which cities can I use the Card L’Essenziale purchased online?

The welding of the bracelet is available in the following cities: Milan, Rome, Turin, London, Paris. For further details see here.

24. Are there any authorized dealers besides yourstores and corner boutiques?

There are no authorized dealers, yet.

25. What if I lose the Card with the unique code with which the L’Essenziale can be collected?

Kindly write an e-mail to shop@ateliervm.com, the customer service will make sure to send you the referring code again. In case the unique code has been stolen or used by a third party there is no possibility of replacement or refund.

1. Can earrings be purchased individually?

Yes. All Atelier VM earrings can be purchased individually. The earring prices in our online store correspond to a single earring.

2. Can the strings of the woven cotton bracelets be replaced once worn out?

Yes. The strings can be replaced with new ones at a surcharge, at any of our locations.

3. Can the colour of the string of a woven cotton bracelet be changed?

Yes. The string can be changed and you can choose a different colour, at a surcharge, at any of our locations.

4. Can bracelets made of woven cotton get wet?

Yes. They can get wet, even in sea water. Please make sure you rinse them in sweet water after.

5. Is it possible to personalize an Atelier VM jewel with an engraving?

Yes. It depends on the model.

6. Is it possible to mount your own stones on an Atelier VM jewel?

No, it is not possible.

7. Can I shorten or lengthen an Atelier VM necklace?

Yes, it depends on the model and could alter the price of the item. In the event of an online purchase, please send a request to shop@ateliervm.com.

8. Is it possible to straighten my Fedina ring?

Yes. It is possible by visiting one of our locations. In the event of an online purchase, please send a request toshop@ateliervm.com.

9. My Atelier VM chain is knotted. What can I do?

Chains should always be placed lying down to avoid knots to untie. In case it happens, arm yourself with a needle and patience or contact our stores.

1. Is it necessary to register with an account in order to make purchases from the online store?

You do not need to register, you can proceed with an order also as a guest.

2. Can I cancel an order?

Yes it is possible to cancel before the order is shipped by writing toshop@ateliervm.com.

3. Can I request a gift package?

All our items come wrapped in Atelier VM packaging, at no additional cost.

4. How do I choose the correct size?

For rings, please consult oursize guide. For other jewellery you will find the size in the product sheet.

1. Which countries do you ship to?

We ship to the whole world except Russia.

2. Is my shipment insured?

All items shipped with DHL are insured against theft and damage during the transit to their destination. Once delivered, they will no longer be covered by this insurance.

3. What are the shipping times and costs?

All available items will be delivered within the time indicated in the list below.Items that are not on stock, once ordered, will be produced and delivered within the time indicated at the check-out.

4. Can I request delivery at a specific time?

At the moment it is not possible to schedule precise delivery times.

5. How can I track my shipment?

Once the package has been sent, you will receive an e-mail alert from Atelier VM with the tracking number, through which you can track the shipment.

For any problems regarding the tracking you can e-mail shop@ateliervm.com.

6. Do I have to pay taxes and import charges?

Within the European Union, delivery takes place on DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) condition. This means that all taxes and charges are covered with the shipping cost.

For countries outside the European Union the DAP (Delivery at place) condition applies. This means that the cost of the product is excluded from import taxes and charges. At the time of delivery the recipient will have to pay any taxes, import charges and sales taxes, depending on the country of destination. We are not able to quantify this amount in advance. You can contact DHL Local for further information using the tracking number.

7. Can I pick an order up at an Atelier VM store or location?

At the moment it is not possible to pick up an item ordered online from the store.

8. What happens if the courier did not find me at home?

If DHL is unable to deliver the package due to the absence of the recipient or an incorrect address, the customer will be contacted by DHL to reschedule a second delivery attempt. If the second attempt fails, the package will be sent back to Atelier VM. The returned goods will be considered as returned and the cost of the return shipment will be charged to the customer.

1. Can I return an item?

It is possible, for those who are not satisfied with the purchase, to return purchased items and get a refund. It is possible to return items within 14 working days.

The right of return excludes all personalized products and all welded jewellery from the L'Essenziale collection.

The returned item must not have been used or worn, it must be intact and in its original packaging which is considered an integral part of the product itself.

2. Can I return an item delivered to an Extra CEE country?

At the moment it is not possible to return items from a country outside the European Union.

3. Can I exchange an ordered item for another one?

At the moment we do not offer exchanges. It is possible to return an item and proceed with a new order.

4. Can I change the size of an item?

It is possible to proceed with a return and order a new item in the correct size.

5. I found a defect in my ordered item, what should I do?

Please contact our customer service promptly (within 24 hours) by writing to shop@ateliervm.com upon receipt of the package. Atelier VM reserves the right to request photographic evidence before authorizing returns for non-conforming goods and to bear the shipping costs for the return of the goods to its premises.

1. Which payment methods can I use?

Accepted payment methods are Visa, American Express, Maestro, Diners, Mastercard, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Alipay, Microsoft Pay, Masterpass by Mastercard, Visa Checkout, WeChat Pay BETA through the Stripe circuit, PayPal and Amazon Pay.

2. How are refunds made?

Refunds are made within 10 working days of the receipt of the returned item at Atelier VM’s premises. It is refunded using the same method of payment as the purchase. The shipping cost is not refunded. The refund is issued in the same currency as the original purchase. Any differences in the amount due to exchange rate fluctuations cannot be refunded.
