Exchanging something as intimate as a fingerprint proves a strong sense of belonging. This kind of mark is unique and ever faithful. The idea of wearing a loved ones fingerprint beholds a sentimentalism which is truly unique and authentic.

A single box, containing everything needed to create the desired imprint directly from the comfort of your home, allows you to craft charms and rings in 9kt or 18kt gold, shaped by the lines of your dearest loved ones. Each Imprint is unique and deeply personal. The final result will naturally vary from one subject to another, both in texture and in the depth of the impression. With this kit, you can take the imprint for a Chevalier ring or a gold charm (available in 9kt or 18kt), choosing among: a single imprint, a double imprint (two people together), Fedele (your dog’s paw, alone or beside yours), and Kitty (your cat’s nose). The impression for the creation of the Fede ring can only be taken in-store, guided by the expertise of our trusted consultants.

1.How does the purchase of the Impronta Collection work?
The Impronta jewels are customizable models crafted with fingerprints. They are available at all Atelier VM points of sale and on the ateliervm.com website. Choose your Impronta jewel, receive your gift card with a unique code by e-mail immediately, receive the Impronta kit at home or pick it up in the shop with the unique gift card code, create your imprint and send it to us using the shipping label provided by our customer service, receive your personalised jewel at home after 3 weeks.
2.Can I give the Impronta Collection as a gift?
Yes, you can give an Impronta jewel as a gift by purchasing the item of your choice. You’ll be gifting an elegant box containing everything needed to create the jewel. Looking for a last-minute gift? You will instantly receive an elegant PDF gift card at the email address provided during checkout, regardless of your chosen delivery method. This elegant PDF serves as a gift card. It can be printed or forwarded as a gift — a meaningful gesture to share instantly.
3.How long will it take to receive my Impronta jewel?
The production time is approximately 3 weeks from the date of receipt of the impressions at our goldsmith's workshop.
4.Can my Impronta jewel be shipped to my home?
Yes, when your fingerprint impression is taken, you may request in store pickup or home delivery of your finished jewel.
5.Can I return an Impronta Collection jewel?
No, because it is a personalised jewel and therefore unique.
6.Is it possible to take impressions remotely?
Yes, by purchasing Impronta online or in-store, you will receive a dedicated kit for impression-taking, allowing you to complete the process from home. Dog’s and cat’s impressions must be taken remotely. The fingerprint impression for the Fede Impronta ring must be taken in-store by our trained staff to ensure its proper execution.
7.Can I take my dog’s impression?
Yes, the collection can be customized with your dog’s paw print. You may also opt for a double impression (dog and owner). In both cases, the imprint must be taken remotely. To purchase this type of jewel, select ‘Fedele’ in the drop-down menu

Yes, the collection can be customized with your cat’s nose print. This impression must be taken remotely. To purchase this type of jewellery, select ‘Kitty’ in the drop-down menu
9.Can I take a child’s fingerprint?
Yes, it is recommended for children aged five and above, to ensure that the fingerprint details are clearly visible.
10.How are fingerprint impressions taken for people and dogs?
Fingerprints are taken using warm wax. The process is painless and takes just a few minutes. This procedure can be carried out in-store or remotely. A dog’s paw impression is only possible remotely.
11.How is my cat’s nose print taken?
The cast of the cat's truffle (nose) is acquired using a silicone paste. The process is painless and lasts only a few seconds. This procedure can only be performed remotely.
12.Where can I use my Impronta jewellery gift card?
Gift cards from the Impronta collection can only be redeemed in the country selected at the time of purchase, as indicated in the order confirmation PDF.
13.How long do I have to use my Impronta jewellery gift card?
Gift cards from the Impronta collection can be redeemed within 12 months from the date of purchase. The date of purchase is shown on the pdf.
14.Are shipping costs and customs clearance fees included?
Shipping costs for the Impronta Collection are included in the jewel’s price. Any customs clearance fees or import taxes are the responsibility of the customer.
15.What should I do if I do not receive the order confirmation with my gift card?
